Why businesses choose E Display for video walls

A video wall is several screens mounted edge to edge so they work as one large display. It is the screen people stop and look at: a lobby welcome, a store entrance, a showroom feature wall. E Display builds digital signage video walls as a turnkey project, so you get the screens, the mounting, the media players, the software and the installation from one team instead of coordinating four vendors.

We build two kinds. LCD video walls use thin-bezel commercial displays in a grid, most often 2x2 or 3x3, and suit lobbies, retail stores and offices. LED video walls are built from modular LED panels and sized to fit your wall, with no visible seams between screens, for larger feature walls where the picture needs to read from across the room.

Content is managed from the same E Display cloud dashboard as every other screen you run. Stretch one image or video across the whole wall, or give each screen its own content, then schedule it by time of day and update it from any browser. If you also run menu boards, directories or single screens, they all sit in the same account.

Each screen in a video wall uses the same $8 per screen per month software license billed annually, while screens, mounting and installation are quoted for your wall, see full pricing, browse the free signage templates you can adapt for your screens, or read about our digital signage media player that runs them.

LCD video walls: 2x2 and 3x3

An LCD video wall is a grid of commercial displays with very thin bezels, mounted on a dedicated video wall bracket so the screens line up. A 2x2 wall of four screens is the most common starting point for a store entrance or reception area. A 3x3 wall of nine screens gives a much larger picture for a lobby, showroom or atrium.

Because each panel is a standard commercial display, LCD walls are a practical choice when you want a big, bright picture at a reasonable cost. You will see a thin line where the screens meet, which most viewers stop noticing once content is playing.

LED video walls built to fit your space

An LED video wall is assembled from modular LED panels, so it can be sized to the wall you have rather than to a fixed screen size. The panels join with no visible seams, which makes LED the right choice when you want one uninterrupted picture across a large feature wall.

Our LED walls are permanent, wall-mounted installations, not portable rental panels. We size the wall with you, plan the mounting and power, and connect it to E Display so it is managed like any other screen.

One picture across the wall, or different content on each screen

Every video wall can run in two ways. Stretch mode treats the wall as one big screen, so a single video, photo or welcome message fills every panel. Split mode gives each screen, or each group of screens, its own content, such as a product video beside a price list beside a promotion.

You can mix the two. The Solara Resort & Spa wall pictured here spreads one landscape photo across two screens and keeps the resort logo on the third. You switch layouts in the dashboard, with no rewiring.

Turnkey: screens, mounts, players, software and installation

A video wall has more moving parts than a single screen, so we handle the whole project. We help you choose the wall size and screen type, supply the commercial displays or LED panels, the video wall mounts and the media players, set up the software and content, and coordinate installation through a vetted local installer.

Once it is on the wall, your team manages it from the E Display dashboard like every other screen: upload content, schedule it, and publish changes in seconds. Every project is quoted for your space, so contact us with the wall size and location to get started.

"Pretty good. I like having this option to us now for our lobby. Sometimes it seems like for such a simple concept why do I need a software like this, but I couldn't find an easy way around it to be honest. But since purchasing and playing around with the software for the last month or so, things are really smooth and easy to use."

Digital signage video wall FAQs

What is a digital signage video wall?

A digital signage video wall is a group of screens mounted together so they act as one large display, controlled by digital signage software. It can show one image stretched across every screen or different content on each screen, and it is updated from a browser like any other digital sign.

What sizes of video wall do you install?

Our most common LCD video walls are 2x2 (four screens) and 3x3 (nine screens). LED video walls are built from modular panels, so they are sized to fit the wall you have.

What is the difference between an LCD and an LED video wall?

An LCD video wall is a grid of thin-bezel commercial displays, so you see a thin line where the screens meet. An LED video wall is made of modular LED panels that join with no visible seams and can be sized to almost any wall. LCD is a practical choice for most lobbies and stores, while LED suits large feature walls.

Can each screen in a video wall show different content?

Yes. You can stretch one video or image across the whole wall, give each screen its own content, or combine the two, and switch between layouts from the E Display dashboard.

Do you supply the screens and install the video wall?

Yes. Video walls are a turnkey project: we supply the commercial displays or LED panels, mounts, media players and software, and coordinate installation through a vetted local installer.

How much does a video wall cost?

It depends on the number and type of screens, the mounting and the installation, so every video wall is quoted for your space. The software for each screen is the same $8 per screen per month license, billed annually, that runs every E Display screen.
