Plug the TX9 into an HDMI port on your TV or monitor, connect the included USB power cable, and switch the TV to that HDMI input. The player boots into the E Display app in under a minute, no computer or extra software needed.

On first boot, choose your network from the Wi-Fi list and enter the password using the included remote. The TX9 supports dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac). If you prefer a wired connection, use a USB-to-Ethernet adapter on the USB 3.0 port.

After the TX9 connects to the internet, it displays a 4-digit registration code. Sign in to your E Display CMS account, add a new screen, and enter that code to register the player to your account. The screen then pulls down its assigned playlist automatically.

The TX9 is $50 as a one-time purchase, and it's free with a new yearly E Display license activation. The free TX9 is strictly for new license activations, it doesn't apply to existing licenses, renewals, or accounts migrating from the legacy Signage Studio platform (Signage Droid Z5).
